Stand-up Comedian Pasha Zalutsky in Vilnius with the New Show “Upstart”.
On September 14, the long-awaited event will take place at Soho Club — Pasha Zalutsky’s brand-new solo stand-up show “Upstart.”
Pasha Zalutsky is the first comedian in Eastern Europe to openly come out as gay on stage. His new show is an honest and hilarious uncensored conversation about self-acceptance, the absurdities of the beauty industry, and his special tenderness toward mature women.
Born in Minsk, Pasha came out while studying in the United States. After returning to the post-Soviet space, he continued to speak openly about his identity — both on television and on stage. For him, stand-up has become the perfect platform to engage in dialogue with society about LGBTQ+ life: about personal pain, social absurdities, and stereotypes that make audiences laugh, yet never leave them indifferent.
In 2024, Zalutsky recorded his first solo special “Life of Pi” in Poland. The media outlet Meduza called it “not only funny but also enlightening forty minutes,” while Novaya Gazeta included the special in its list of the year’s best.
“When it hurts the most — that’s exactly when you have to write jokes,” says Pasha.
Come for an evening that will make you laugh and help you see life from a new angle. After the show, guests are welcome at the afterparty — a chance to meet the artist, take photos, and get autographs on merch and books.
Russian-language event.
Two ticket types available:
- VIP Seat — comfortable seating right by the stage;
- Free Stand — open seating near the bar and in the club lounge.
